My new cyclocross bike
Moderator: Moderator Team
Finally I got the frame and fork (and some extra parts) out of Mr. Mootsie.
So far the bike is just build with parts I had laying around - This is probably the spec-list:
- Ritchey WCS Protokol wheels,
- Ritchey WCS OS stem and handlebars,
- Ritchey cranks,
- Tune seatpost and saddle,
- Shimano Ultegra 9s STI-shifters,
- Shimano Deore front derailleur and Ultegra rear derailleur,
- FSA headset,
- Crank Brothers Eggbeater pedals,
- Avid Shorty brakes (maybe Shimano XT cantilever brakes).

Thanks
I'm really excited - I have NO expirence whatsoever so I have no idea what will work on a cyclocrossbike so now I'm building and will find out if it will do good!
I will NOT use the mounted Deda Synapsis integreted handlebar/stem for cyclocross hehe!

Nope - the protokol wheels are new to this project but then I have the bike completed and tried it I will tell you how they works!!!
So the bike is almost finish - still waiting for the ritchey wcs wheelset!
Hopefully I'll get a chance to test it on sunday!!

First testride today - 3 hours with a bunch of mtb-riders and no problems in staying with them except really tecnical descents! Brakes sucks compared to my disc brakes on my mtb but the bike just feels really great!!! My life is better with a cyclocross-bike

But my dear friend Martin - that's not where our bet is been decided
See you soon in Hareskoven hehe!
Latest pictures!
Soon upgraded with Avid Shorty titanium brakes and Truvativ Stylo Team crankset w/ integreted box. Still haven't decided if I will use my Ritchey WCS protokol wheels or the Mavic Ksyrium SSL2 wheels!

I think I'll race it depending on which licens I have to race on - the Danish Cycling Union is not sure about which classes where will be and if the sport-class in mtb is being closed next season I will ride in the Elite B-class!
At the moment I only have this bike and my topfuel but thanks for your comment, mr. even more toptuned bike-owner
