As the title says. I'm moving to London on monday to study. I'm bringing my CX bike and I'd like to do some training and racing.
I've been looking for a club for a while, been writing on forums etc., but without much luck. I was hoping someone in here might know something...
It would be perfect if its a CX/MTB club as I'd like to race in England next season. But I wouldn't have a problem being a member of two clubs

E1, so I'm probably going to spend some time travelling...
Try ; http://www.lookmumnohands.com/ They sponsor a club that seems to do a bit of everything.
That's pretty central.
I can't comment on MTB clubs as I don't know any, but the following clubs are pretty active in the local cyclocross races:
Cycle Club Hackney
London Phoenix
Dulwich Paragon
Velo Club Londres (VCL)
Rollapaluza CC (of which I'm a member)
I assume you've already found the London Cyclocross League website (http://www.londonxleague.co.uk) and the Cross Crazy site is worth a regular visit (http://www.cross-crazy.com).

Thank you for that list:) Are there elite riders in all of the clubs?
I have checked out London Cross League, I plan on doing as many of the races as possible.

Ciclos Uno is in Hainault ,Essex near to the Hog Hill circuit .

soulmates never die
A London Phoenix rider was 3rd in the first race at Fowlmead on Sept 11, last Sunday the same rider won the Seniors at Hog Hill. There were 3/4 LP riders at both races with more expected at Herne Hill Sunday after next. Generally there's 2 x Seniors, 2 x Women and 2 x Vets racing.
Did you ride Hog Hill last Sunday? If you're at Herne H on 02 Oct please come up to someone in a LP jersey, they'll be glad to chat.

I have exchanged some emails with a couple of guys from London Phoenix. It sounds like a great club. I have applied for membership, and I will definitely be doing the race on the 2nd of October.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I hope you all will have a great season!
