I'm trying to find some weight listings for tuned SRAM red components (ie shifters, front and rear deralleurs). I know they are sprinkled throughout the introduction section, but it's been difficult finding them. Can you guys list your tuned weights and what you did to get the weight down?
Also is the SRAM red black the same weights as the red? They say it is but is it confirmed?
Thanks

sram red/yellow/black are the same, only difference is the paint job
for rear mech see...

afaik, for front mech there's not huge opportunity, except shave a few g with nylon limit screws

Shifters can be brought down to 244g for the pair.
(for reference, tuning by Eddy, not done by me)

I got my SR11 down to:
Shifters 329g
R derailleur 150g
F derailleur 64g
But I'm annoyed I can't get it much lower. It sounds like I could have saved some precious grams By going with the Red. If only my wheels weren't built up for Campy.

A SRAM RD can go to 120g - as shown below - but there is still more room for tuning with some Dremel work, probably getting it down to ~115g estimated. Nylon screws, better bolts, perhaps down to ~110g or less.

I do not have one but when I listed this one in the other topic:
I asked them how low they can get for a full functional Sram Red .Was told that 95grams
is full in reach.

In the Fairwheel blogs somewhere I am pretty sure it is listed at only 6g over Red, as most bolts are already titanium.
Not great on a $/gram basis.

Good job. I was checking some older posts and people were using a site called xx-light-bikes-de but I'm not too sure how up to date this site is. Is SRAM using lighter bolts for 2011 red than they did in years past? If so then the only way to save weight would be with a dremel, carbon jockey wheels and maybe a lighter mech plate does anyone know the weights for the current jockey wheels and mech plate?
Try to get some of the AFC bike pulley's, IIRC they were around 1-2g lighter than carbon pulley's.

The afc wheels are 10.2g/set. FL's are 8g/set and Rothskek's are 7.9g/set.
