got some out door shots today and i got to really take the parlee for a good spin today and to check out it's descending manners on an 11km rolling descent
what a crazy little weapon of a bike...
any time you got the legs to throw it down it's already 2 bike lengths in front of you, it's ability to accelerate is staggering!
one negative i did encounter was on the descent into akuna bay, the road is kind of rough chip seal and a bit bumpy. the bumps were fine but the rough road surface made the whole bike vibrate all the was down the hill. the faster i went the less buzzy it felt but the serotta really felt a whole lot nicer over this rather poor road surface than the parlee..
then there is the roll down to church point..... OMG this thing is like flying a laser guided missile, it is soo fast, sharp and stable through corners at crazy speeds it totally blew me away! if it was any sharper and more precise you could preform surgery with it!!
it was a totally epic day for a ride too.. empty roads in the national park on mostly amazing roads, 14 degrees air temp with lots of warm sun
have a couple of things in the post including the very attractive extralite stem,a set of token carbon/ti skewers in red and black and final fit and removal of the ugly spacer stack next week
i will also get it into marcus's work studio for some bike porn photos
