Not exactly your average WW material since it's aluminum, but the 202's bring the weight down to 16.5 lbs.

They are FMB Grippo XL's...but they are based on one of the schwalbe treads IIRC

I like it a lot, If I had to make one comment it would be get cable housing with liners and run the liners the full length of the cable so you don't get mud in them and have to take it apart twice a week to clean.

Agreed. Consider Gore Ride-On Professional Brake and Deraileur cablesets.

Mud isn't generally an issue here in Chicago.

You're correct Mr. Catano. Then again, I think I can manage a rebuild if needed. ;-)

With that said, I probably will do a Gore sealed kit once winter rolls around, but summers in Chicago just don't need it.

Also, yes those are the Grippo XL's based on the previous gen Racing Ralph on FMB casings. Between those, the SSC Sprint, and the new FMB mud tread which is coming soon, I should we well set up for tires this year.

Good looking bike that should hold up for racing too. I would be really tempted to get a light frame/fork combo. Would make one super light cross bike. The new carbon cx-frames from Felt look impressive but I'm guessing they are not too cheap.

Did you say something about thinking a new lightweight frame would be cool?

Same drivetrain, all Red with a Force FD. Hollowgram SL cranks with WickWerks chainrings. F1x frame and ENVE fork.

That is one nice cross bike. I'm guessing close to (or under) 6,8?
