Got the frame from Ebay. I didn´t pay more than what would be like 2400$ for the whole bike, but there is a lot of work in this too. Frame was a Trek Madone 5.5 SL in grey.
I got my hands on some brand new Dura Ace 7800 levers, which I think are the ones that looks best on this bike, I got the rest of the 7800 group set from another bike.

Now with the obligatory Lightweight photo. The wheels belongs to my brother, who´s doesn´t have the time for cycling at the moment. Weight with these and some other stuff 6789 grams.

Looks great. I think I'd prefer to see it with full 7900 though rather than 7800, but that's just me. 7900 pedals would be a nice touch.

Fantastic looking Madone.
I've got a 5.9sl 2007 in the Disco colours and have always wondered what it would look like nude.
How did you go about stripping the paint?

thx

That is a great simple build. No frills, clean, and straightforward. That's hot.

You should do the same with other DA parts... just like with the crankset.

+1 on the how... I have two stealth builds going and would love to know how you did those cranks. They look super clean! Great job.

Incredible build, congrats

Love everything but the pedals, but hey, that's a personnal thing.

The crankset is awesome, I still ride a 7800 too.
