Hi!

I'm offered a S-Works Roubaix SL OSBB frame at good price, so I wonder if there is any other crankset beside Specialized S-Works and Cannondale Hollowgram cranks (a bit expensive for me, also FSA for around 500$) that will work on this frame ?

I've noticed that Specialized OSBB is not the standard BB30 but little wider (84,5 mm), so crank arms spindle should be longer with thw same diameter. Am I correct?

Is there any chance to put on any of SRAM cranks, which I found support BB30 standard, are there any adapters that work properly?

What about Shimano?

Thanks for answers.

I have a 2009 S-Works Roubaix frameset just ready to build. I want to install a Shimano Hollowtech Ultegra triple. It is sort of confusing as to which things work with what. Seems Wheels Manufacturing makes a shim kit that is supposed to make Hollowtech compatible with BB30, but it also appears it makes a difference whether or not your Roubaix has circlip bearings or press fit cups with bearings. Confuses the crap out of me. What was wrong with square taper?

Here an alleged compat. chart from Wheels Manufac:

If it's a 2011 Roubaix it will be PF30, the SL2/SL use circlips IIRC. Good info on the link.

I need to bump this.

I have a OSBB and want to run a FSA SL-K BB30 crank.

My problem here is, i need some kind of spacer between bearings and crank. The spacers i have now i for Shimano and goes down in diameter.
Can any of these help me?

I think you just need bearing covers and a wavy washer. They usually come as standard, if you buy Sram Red BB30 kranks for instance, but you should be able to buy FSA BB30 bearing covers and wavy washers seperately as spares.

Correct. I had the bearing shields and a wave washer installed when I had a Gossamer on my Crux.
