Hi,

I'm Wilco from the Netherlands and I want to show you guys my bike. My previous bike was a aluminium Trek with an Ultegra/Dura-Ace setup.
Got bored with the Trek so I decided to sell it and buy myself something new.

Made a sweet deal on this second-hand BMC. I fell in love with the frame and the kinda stealthy look.
Being used to the Trek, the BMC rides very well.

The BMC is about 2,5 kg. lighter than the Trek I used to own, and overall the frame and components seem to be a lot stiffer. When I put power into the pedals the BMC accelerates more directly. Climbing on this bike goes very well, on the Trek I used to ride with a 27 rear cog, but now I can ride a 23 rear cog with the BMC.
Also the bike seems to absorb vibrations and bumps better than my old bike.
Riding on tubes took some time to get used to and gain confidence.

Planning to shave some weight of the bike. I already changed the saddle to the SLR XC from my mountainbike, which saved about 75 grams.
Next thing I want to do is replace the bottle cages for carbon...?

Sweet - although an EA90 stem to complete the Easton theme? Good to see though as I'm building an SLC01 at the mo too and have also gone for the EC90 cranks, thanks!

To complete the Easton theme I will need a new handlebar too, now I have a matching stem and wing bar, so I'll stick with these.

The guy who I bought the bike from has been riding the EC90 crank for a few years now and he claimed to never have had any problem with it, so I think it's worth taking the risk.

Don't you have a build thread for your SLC01? It's always nice to see other Pro Machines!

The bike in it's current state, mounted a black saddle and bartape, changed the crankset to a Sram Red one and mounted Speedplay pedals.
Bad weather set-up with Easton Orion wheelset with Velomax hubs. I'm still very happy with this bike.

Miss my Pro machine so much :( Then I go for a ride on my Teammachine instead

Nice build. Only issue with it would be the logos everywhere.
