So, can anyone tell me if the FM039's seatclamp (ISP model) is made of aluminum, carbon or iron?

Also, the MC008 has a shiney seatclamp on the ISP model...I have to assume it's polished aluminum and not stainless steel?

Any insight or help?

Both have internal cables...so sweet :D

I would love to have the FM039...intergrated seat post is sexy, but I've never seen a seatclamp like it before. Afraid it will weigh a ton AND I won't be able to buy a light one in the aftermarket.

Anyone got a clue?

Ain't it pretty? This is a photo of the non-ISP model. Has a removeable seatpost.

What you suppose that seatclamp is made of?

Here is the new MC008...notice the internal cable ports? Shiney seatclamp...what could it be made of...more important how much does it weight?

I've only seen them on alibaba.com

Wish they'd appear on e_bay. Wish others would order one and be the guniea pigs. They could tell us how much they weigh and ride.

The FM039 looks like it has a more robust BB, but what do I know?

I like how on the FM039-ISP's (ISP = Intergrated-Seat-Post) seatclamp fits INSIDE the seatpost as opposed to how the MC008's seatclamp fits over the seatpost. Just looks cleaner to me.

FM039 won't be available for a while. Currently only one size (56? 58? something like that) will be available in the Spring. Other sizes will be available later on.
All internal routing... basically the same as a Specialized Venge in terms of routing.

That's a crying shame. I'd order one today if I could. Tried sending someone on alibaba a message asking for sizing and payment options, but haven't gotten a reply.

Did the math and could build one up, SRAM RED "Black" groupset amoung other light goodies, for $2700.00...DOES NOT include wheelset. While it would look smoking hot with some 38mm carbons ($800 ~ 1500 grams), I'd have to stick to alloys ($600 ~ 1500grams) for practicality sake. Though the carbons would put it over the top :D

Find the forum over at Road Bike Review... under the "frames" category I think. There is a thread there devoted to folks who buy "generic" carbon frames. A few people there have been researching/inquiring/ possibly ordering the FM039 among the many, many others. It's a messy place, but if you're patient you can sort through the fluff from the new-to-sport and actually get some valuable information such as geometry charts, turn-around time, reliable people to order from, contact info, and so on.

Notice it's the weight of the DEVILl!!!

This bike will have dependable training wheels and tires. Not to mention a 155mm wide seat. Built for everyday use to ride to school and work. Think it will last me a long time unless I should wreck. It will pay for itself in a year with the savings from having no car payments, fuel and insurance. Color me happy :)

1800 grams for an FM039-ISP? Wow that thing is an anchor, huh?

NOT a FM039-ISP. It's a FM039 non-ISP.

That weight includes the fork, seatpost and headset I'm guessing :noidea:

It will be 45 days before I get the thing to weigh :(

Wish me luck...I'll post pics when i start getting parts.

Keep reading about people who have ordered the FM039, but is there anyone who has actually got it delivered? Lot of forums talking about Hong Fu and Jenny as trustworthy and ok to order from. Any experiences...?

I have not gotten my frameset. I was told 45 days. It has been 79 days since I made payment.

Long story short I would not place an order till you know someone has gotten their frameset.
