Doesn't do it for me either.

I'd be surprised if it's that light.

Oh and Schleck rides a Trek now.

Take the red decals off the wheels, replace the blue and red cables with black and replace the blue anodised parts with something black and carbon and it would look pretty good .... if you're an Andy S fan.

...damned with faint praise ...

I really like SL3s and I'm sure it's a great bike.

The decals/graphics and colour co-ordination, or lack thereof, don't work for me.

If correct then it is an impressive weight for sure. Wld be good to see weights by the build list.

Strunk's "The Elements of Style" called. It wants its extraenous apostrophe back.

In order for colors to match, colors have to first match..

yes, "fancy" is the right word ;) for more fancy, get some blue, white, red tape on it.

One man's pleasure is another man's pain. After building my Red SL3 (see thread) I was suprised how conditioned I, and I think most other people, have become in thinking a bike must be black and everything must be colour co-ordinated. If the top guys suddenly had multicolored bikes then it would be "cool" no doubt. Remember the La Vie Claire / Rossin bikes of the early 90's?
As long as you like the look of the bike and it brings a smile to you face when you ride then enjoy it buddy :D

A cleaner photograph with less distractions in the background might help.

Tentatively I'd say that it needs either more blue, or less of it. There is just not enough balance.

But once again, it's hard to say from this picture.
