corima rims are the one and only with the spoke-nipple inside of the rims. so you can easylie see, if this wheelset is a corima rims with other decals ;)

corima produces "undercover" for many brands.
for example: thorius shado carbon, fir antara, spinergy x aero, and many more... all rims made by corima :D
• Rocky Mountain Instinct -- 9.92 kg
• Principia RSL -- 6.83 kg

what are people's thoughts on the nipple in the rim idea? Seems to be a hassle if you are out of true? I have never riden Corima's so know nothing about them. They seem reasonably priced?

Ask any wheelbuilder, they will tell you it a royal pain in the ass.

pain when you have to build them or true them. My Campy Shamals have the hidden nipples, and I've NEVER had to true them. Good thing too since pulling and regluing a tubie just to true a wheel would be a pain.

I'm riding mtb, but like to read youre stories. Just a question, Can you get carbon rims out of true? They aren't like aluminum.

Thanks!

you betcha. so far, the only carbon wheels I HAVEN'T heard of going out of true are discs(but I'm sure they could if beat on enough).

With the spoked ones, they can go out of true just like a normal wheel. With the other varieties, you are screwed if they go out(think Spinergy Rev-X, Hed/Specialized tri-spoke). There's no way to re-true the non-spoked variety.
