Its time for a update :D its a hole year since last time.
2010 i spent on a Scale RC frame with a XX Sid, repainted saddlepost in white, sram XX gears and brakes. Wheels where Dt240:s with olympic rims and Dt Revulution spokes.
It was a heck of fast bike and took me to a silver medal in H30 Swedish Championship.

Now its a new year and of course a new bike and new goals for my riding :P
Scale RC 2011
Rock Shox Sid Race
Sram XX
Wheels same as last year.
Conti X-king

Did you choose to move from the grip shifters or just because they don't make a 10 speed grip shifter?

If it was possible i would go for gripshifts but the XX trigger i not a bad choice. Very exact gearshiftings and felling.
And it didnt take long to get used to them even after 10years with Grip shift :D

Great thread! It reminds me of my Scale Ltd which I've had since 2006. At the time I thought I wouldn't want to change anything on it, yet over the years I have changed almost evything on it.

In the picture above have you blurred the cats face to protect it's identity? :)

yes she is a little bit shy

I have ridden on scotts carbon frames since 2005 that bike i sold to man in my town and he is still riding it :D
Over the years there has been some improvements but the first one was damn god!
As you say bighead its worth building on them.
Iam sadly a little spoiled to work in at cycleshop so i have ridden new models every year. But only limited once. I think it was 2007 now they are to expensive

great bike! How did you find the x-king vs race kings? IN particular rolling? I am running the x-kings now but am wondering about going back to race kings at the rear.

of course it will come some real actionfotos

I have a Foil 15 with dura ace c35 wheels. Just for training no competition fore me.

I ridden the "black" today with right tirepressure (race kings) it feels realy god. Tomorrow its time for some more training with my buddy.
I ll try to go with X king 2.4 if nationals will be mudrace the race kings sucks big time.

Here is a picture on the spark. It feels slow now when i have ridden the "black" fore some days
But when it comes to more tecnical courses with roots and stones it rocks

The "black" is uppgraded with new lighter wheels, american classic hubs, pilar aerospokes and innolite tubular. Its a autumntest so a couple of tufo xc3 will do.
Almost 0,5kg lighter with tires then old wheels:)
Now the bike weights 7,75kg and feels superfast.
Pics will come

What are your first thoughts about Innolite Tubular rims? Did you get a good price on them, hence not going with say AX-lightness or similar?
