It looks nice - good job.

Sadly it will ride like a piece of 2 by 4. If there's one frame I wouldn't spend time on it's a 5200. Sorry.

I have a new 2010 Focus Cayo, 2010 Giant TCR Advanced, a Kinesis KR810 and sold my Isaac Impulse recently and I don't find my Trek 5200 "wooden". It is a very stable ride, but not much unlike any of my other carbon rides. They all feel more alike than different.

if anything that sounds like a fun ride to me. if it was mahogany or koa, something with a nice mid-range frequency response. maybe maple or ash for the chainstays.
