It seems like you've got kind sort of transparent tape/tube wrapped around the top part of your handlebar,
what is it
what is it for
does it work?

here it is link to crc, here i bought it

Stealth, don't leave glue marks after removing, easy to cut, last forever, always nice and clear (don't go brown)...

Ahhhhh. I thought it was something specifically for the handlebars, providing some grip and damping.

Really really like this. It's so subtle but so well done. I even really like the the big slab of red colour in the bars / stem. Although if this was white, would it be even better? Dunno. It's a beaut anyway.

I really like this build, too. The personalized cosmetic touches really add a lot to it. I'd go so far as to even suggest removing the red lines from the 3T components up in the cockpit to make the flow of things more even.

first, thanks all for nice words :)

@wisgliebau and @mcrdave:

i have the same dilemma about the red color stripe on the stem .is it too much or not?
the handlebar is not in question because i strongly believe that every bike must have a bit of some color (white, grey or black aren’t colors, they are just level of light). i my case this is red color. so you will remember mine as the red one :) as you will remember this canyone from sticky tread as the orange one and so one.
the red handlebar will stay but i will remove the red stripe from stem in photoshop and post it here. i will appreciate if you give me your opinion about it.

i realy don't know.
it was transfer foil (because this material isn't so sticky as standard foil) used as mask.

i like alot the work on the frame, uber stealthy :thumbup:

however i also feel a quite overwhelming urge to wipe off the red on the stem with acetone, and remove the red from the bars.
a plain black saddle and bar tape would be perfect :mrgreen:

i need to get out more.
