I will be graduating this spring, and hopefully will be getting into our first house soon as well. I'm really looking forward to finally having a garage to store all of my tools and bike stuff. So I'd like to start getting ideas for awesome garage/bike corner ideas. If any of you guys have a sweet setup, share you pictures with me.

I thought there might have been, but I have not been able to find any threads in my searches. Any help on what or where they would be under?

do you want pictures of garages only.

I don't have my bike stuff in a garage. BUT, I do have a "Bike Room" if you want pictures of that I could get some.

It's nice to talk to another WW in Utah. There is only a few of us.

Also don't forget your security/locks to ensure that your bikes/equipment are safe. I myself prefer a bike room in the house for that reason. However just make sure the family doesn't leave the garage door wide open on nice summer afternoons with your road bikes and race wheels being shown off to the whole neighborhood. I would also recommend drilling some sort of lock/cable into the garage floor or a stud in the wall to make sure someone can't just come in and walkout/ride away on one of your bikes. Sorry for going off topic.

That is a VERY good point.

That is exactly why I don't have my cycling things in the garage. It is easy for kids to get in and play with them (bad idea) and easy to get stolen or for someone to see then steal when they get the opportunity.

Also, I can then have the rollers and trainer with everthing as well. and if you have a
TV, youare set. :D

(Man-cave thread, here we go)

sorry if this is off topic, but it seems to apply.

I will get some pictures tonight.

Looks very nice grid. Is that your basement? I see what looks like a concrete wall in the background.

Yeah, sorry about that - it's a basement. Like most WWs I'm too attached to keep the stuff in the garage.

Here is my cycling room.

I will always have "a room". I would always worry that the garage is open, or when the kids were playing outside.

But my father had his bike stuff in his garage $$$$$$$$. He hasn't had a problem for 15 years and he has a lot of $$$ in equipment. So do what you think is best, as always.

If you want I could get a picture of his garage setup. Just let me know.
