A new stem for LOOK KG496 TT bike.
He has only a 26mm stem on the bike, but need a new 31.8mm for a new TT bar.
The old stem weigth 117 gram and the new one 173 gram with steel bolt.

So why?
I saw that. He must really want that new bar. Personally I think bars are overrated: if you can get a good position with an old 1989-era Scott set, that's virtually as good.

Because HED TT handelbar he has today does not live up to the UCI 3:1 rule.

Yes you are right. Especially when you are over 40 years and runs only race for fun.

It's been a long time since I last posted a message here. But now I'm ready with a new project, a garmin mount specially designed for the 3T stem.
This is the prototype No.1, it is far from finished, but now I have an idea of how it should look like.

BmanX wrote:Could you make a mount that is more universal for all 31.8 bars?
It becomes a little difficult if it is to be mounted in the same way as on 3T stem.
Distance between screws is 28mm, so it will fit in all stems with the same distance.

That is very cool. Seems like machining from billet is a very expensive way to produce it though.
Something similar is already available albeit it's a more uniform bar extension to mount anything but it's attached in the same manner.
