Hi,
if I were you, I would build cheaper, which does not mean heavier wheels on a lightweight hubs and KinLin or Ambrosio tubular rims - Crono f20 or Nemisis, which are a little heavier. Perfect for crit.
I like the blue color, it will be a very nice dale.

Swapped the carbon spacers from stock to BBB UltraSpace and saved a whopping 4g :D

Finally the build begins....... and quickly comes to a halt.......

Nice high head tube on this bike so I suspect the stack height will end up being quite low when I have been in for a set up.

Now blue or black skewers? I'm leaning towards the blue......

I'd go black skewers. Too much blue will kill the bike

That is such an awesome blue.

Reminds me of the Maritime Blue on Porsches.

Sheesh talk about peer group pressure :lol:
Seatpost is here - woohoo!
Claimed weight 163g - actual 166g

Groupset arrived
BB = 68g
FD = 89g
RD = 173g
Cassette = 225g
Cables & Cable housing = 214g (Pre cut)
Shifters including cable = 348g (Pre cut)
Brakes = 287g
FD Clamp = 26g
Crankset = 620g
Chain = 268g
Force Groupset w/cables (Pre cut) = 2318g

I'll use a Red cassette @ 163g and keep the Force as a spare.

So far then;
Frame = 1975g (Size 58 Uncut steerer)
Saddle = 134g
Bars = 185g
Stem = 124g
Seatpost = 166g
Skewers = 43g
Groupset = 2318g
Bartape = 50g
Elite Bottle Cage = 40g
Pedals = 250g
w/ Easton Wheelset & Conti Tubs = 1732g

Total = 7017g
- BB30 Bearings weight unknown 50g?
- 62g for Cassette
Total should be 6905g - TBC

Building to begin tomorrow........ Watch this space :)

All done! :thumbup:
Total weight with pedals and bottle cages........ Drum roll............
6.81Kg :faint: I was stunned. I was expecting closer to 7Kg so I am really really happy.
These pics are before setup so final weight may still change depending on whether I cut the steerer or not.

You may need to check your bottle cages. They are mounted upside down.
