Update 2/17, here we are in race trim:

Image

14.56 lbs/6.6 kg. Meh.

Need to fix my creaking Look ti Blades and get some new brakes. That should get me back down near 14.0 lbs.

My 2011 Scott Addict R1 frameset just got in. I'm blown away by the weight and attention to detail. It really looks fantastic. Once the SRAM BB gets in, I'll be building it up with the parts from my Ridley Damocles.

XL (58) Frame weight (hanger but no BB or HS): 872g
Uncut fork weight: 318g

:beerchug:

Less then I was expecting. And yes, I checked the scale at the shop. My camera weighed 148g on it, which is the same as at home.

Build:
SRAM Red group
Selle Italia Flite Kit Carbonio saddle
T3 Rotundo Team bars
Look Ti Blade pedals
KCNC Ti QR Skewers
Carbon cages
Thomson Masterpiece seatpost
Thomson X2 stem

Training wheels:
DT Swiss 240s/Mavic Open Pro front wheel
PowerTap PRO+/Mavic Open Pro rear wheel
Michelin Pro 3 tires

Race wheels:
2010 Reynolds Assault Tubulars
Vittoria Evo Corsa CX tires

Should be close to 14lb with the race wheels.

UPDATE: 13.9lb with race wheels. :beerchug:

Awesome. I will be curious about the difference in the new ride from the one you are riding now. Please give a ride report when you have the miles to give a good one.

I realize I am not the one paying for it, but I have to say that I think the 3T Limited would match the frame better than the Team ... just saying.

For sure but I already own the Team version.

I fully expect the Addict to be a much harsher ride then my Ridley Damocles. The Damocles frame is something like 1300g and really soaks up rough roads.

Looking forward to checking out the handling differences. The other reason I got this frame is I wanted to try something with a bigger saddle to bars drop. My Ridley has a massive head tube.

Echo the comments about the LBS - looks like a nice place to be, and a top place to give your business to!
