Have to say 2010 was quite the year of awakening, watershed year if you will, for me - the final 6 months especially so. Discovered I can be decently competitive on the bike as well as finding that riding hard and enjoyment on the bike are not (for me at least) separate entities :D

So stats for 2010 (with '09 in red) turned out as:

- kms: 17, 700 6,000

- time: 556 hrs 202

- elevation gain: 125,000m 46,000

- ave. speed: 31.8km/h 29.8

- ave. distance: 57.4km 66.26

Goals for 2011 are:

- up FTP closer to 400w an

- drop weight and hold at least 75kgs

- complete Melbourne to Warrnambool (yes, despite last years horrific conditions I'm keen to go around again  )

- attempt to get myself a domestic team to ride for

Please, no haters about "it's not about time spent on bike, but what you do with it" etc., we all know that  Think of this as a public way to state your new year goals, work off each other to see how attainable they are and look for advice on how to reach them.

2010 was a pleasing year for me, in spite of my rather slack training.

I don't have all the stats, but managed around 13,000km for the year.

For 2011, I would like to see:

- bump short-term power to 19W/kg from 16.2
- drop weight to 70kg from 75kg
- maintain 2 x 5+ hour rides / week during "on" weeks
- do some more opens other than Masters championship races
- get my equipment sorted so flats are less likely at goal races :?
- do one of the week-long open tours with the big boys, preferably with a domestic team of my choosing

Well, I only have stats from October 5th to December 31st since thats when I got my Garmin and I never bothered to record anything before that. Here are my stats from mtb, road, and trainer rides, all combined from that time frame.

kms: 5623.43
time: 196.34 hours
elevation gain: 8765 m (its pretty flat here and a lot of this has been on the trainer :( )
avg speed: 28.64 km/h

Pretty happy with my weight of about 68-69 kg.
Last year (2009) ftp was 365ish, right now sitting around 330-340.
Basically this last year was a wreck for me, so with that said, goals for 2011:

- ftp back up to 360-370, or higher if possible
- try to avoid injury better
- complete a full season of racing, not just the beginning or just end of season races

I don't really have any specific goals for racing, just do ones that look like fun and see where it goes from there! :beerchug:

This is the only statistic I kept track of.

It was on a descent with a tailwind.

I don't keep much track of my past info (roughly kms would be similar anyway).

As for goals for new year:

-learn properly how to use&train with an Srm
-get closer to victory more often (been there twice this year)

2010 stats

21,500 km
680 Hours
152,450 meters vertical ascent
FTP of 5.2 w/kg

For 2011 I would like to get my FTP closer to 400 and also peak at a better time in our season.

I would like to complete the Melbourne to Warnie and also Grafton to Inverell amongst other NRS events.

lol, its not a real stress, given FTP is highly trainable and I will be in my 2nd real structured training year with 15 races or more. I think 5 w/kg is achieveable, I just need to work harder and ride longer this summer. The trainer is a huge help but cant do it all during winter. Unfortunatly...
