Before i make some better pictures, I add one foto of my previous built (9.6kg). Most of the part will be used for Litespeed and also color scheme of the built is more than obvious 8) ( without white :-))

Hi

You're true about stifness, that's the reason I'm runnig so heavy stem and handlebars and second reason is design and color, I had Easton EA90 110mm stem before and wanted to use it again, but unfortunately is impossible to anodize this stem. That's reason why I bouhgt Thomson X2 in Gold, and about these Truvativ handlebars, I'm runnin them because of gold labels and UD carbon fibre look... and finally save 100 grams on stem, bars and casstte makes no difference to me... Bike will be light enough for me, so I'd rather go for bit heavier but more durable components (my weight is betweene 85-90kg)... anyway, if I want to built true WW bike, I will have to sell everything except the frame and fork and start all over again and weight isn't main priority of this project :-D

Small update...

Finally decided about new brakes, so black Hope Race X2 + XTR matchmaker on the way.... some gold anodising will follow asap. (calliper caps and levers). Unfortunatelly there are no more G:A Kilo 2010 forks in stock, so i probably will get new 2011 model, it should have some minor design changes and lower weight, about 70g less than 2010 model 8) , but thats a rumor, we´ll se when arrives :D . And finally there will be some changes on shifting (want to try Powercordz), Tune cranks spider (some milling and sanding) and on the crankset, new 40/27 chainrings mounted on small and middle position, for more suitable gears and also to improve chainline... and finally Titanium nitride on cranks for gold color and more durable surface...
sorry... no fotos yet, but I´ll post some as soon as i get some of these parts....

Cheers

i love your ace! looks great in that photo! mine isn't that clean though..

also Powercordz are great! mine still run smooth, just as advertised you don't need to grease them ever.
you should get alligator i-links for the housing in gold ;)

New chainrings are home... TA Specialities Compact 94BCD 40z / 72g and Gebhardt 58BCD 27z / 42g, moddified spider (removed outer chainring stops) will be anodised in black soon, and some drilling and grinding will follow on both chainrings, want to make them lighter and want the TA Spec. to look like standart one with holes...
