Im an owner of a SuperSix Hi Mod - Just built
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Hello - its been a while since Ive posted/viewed the forums. I know Im a tad bit late to jump on the SuperSix hype, but I decided to get one (second hand) and just built it. Pretty excited to ride it...finished the build today thanks to my Mechanic Cousin who wanted to build it (at least it seemed that way) really late last night until we hit some road blocks. I realized I didnt have a Chain tool in my tool collection for Campy and didnt have a bolt that would reach my front brake threading for the front caliper.
Thanks to LBS having some fairly standard parts...we were able to complete everything today. I have yet to ride it or take good pictures, nevertheless, just wanted to post it up to share as we all like seeing something better than nothing on these forums. Im sure its a standard build for most (not really weight weenie ish type of bike, but for me its light at 15.08lbs considering my choice of components). Very happy with how it came out and will post more pics on a nicer day...its been pouring here lately and my garage shop is not exactly the best photo booth.
Before anyone rags on me for my crank, I went with a full Super Record 11 Group...didnt go BB30 since its too hard to find a Crank/Chainring Combo in Compact for Campy 11 speed other than a Campy stuff. Im open to suggestions, but for now Im on my Super Record Crank with BB30 Campy Converters. Seems easier to find a Standard Setup that would work, such as SI SL Hollowgram with the Campy Spider. Maybe...we'll see.
Heres the build list in a nutshell:
52cm Cannondale SuperSix Hi Mod
Campagnolo 2011 Super Record 11 Group (Compact Crank)
3T ARX Team +/-6
3T Rotundo Team
3T Palladio Team
Fizik Antares (Red/White)
Mavic Carbone SLR
Vittoria Evo CXII 320tpi
Tacx Tao Bottle Cages
Keo Carbon Pedals
Weight as pictured - 15.08 lbs

More pics of the Peg, please.
Actually, just make a thread for it. I would rather see more of the Peg than the 'dale.

Exactly, we demand more pics of that beautiful Pegoretti!
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.
As for the Peg - I posted that a while ago for the Peg. I just searched it and it was when I first built it...changed a bit from that posting, so maybe Ill edit the post with newer pics. Today is not a good day for snapping photos...Stormy Jones outside....so no riding too. Booooo!
Bartape selection...HAHAHHA...trust me, not my choice of tape. Had it from buying that damn Cofidis Colored Saddle...so decided to try it. Im not crazy about it, but it works for now. I have some plain white Fizik tape to slap on there one day when I decide to rewrap the bars.
