Hi Everyone,

Long time reader, first time poster!!

I am in process of building my first Colnago (replacement for my older Pinarello Prince 2002)

I should have my frame and all of the components next week, but I thought I will post my parts list first. Items with the "x" next to them have not arrived and the weight is estimated. I will post pictures once this project is completed.

Welcome to the posting world of weight weenies. Your build list looks very classy. I hope that the real weight turns out close to the paper weight for you, as that will certainly be a mighty fine machine! Be sure to post lots of pictures. :D

I got lucky and managed to buy out of stock, but some places told me 12 weeks minimum (+/- 4). I believe that North American distribution was advised that some sizes could be up to 4 months late :?: ......

......so, I am happy that mine is on its way and I have a tracking number.

Sounds absolutely great, though I'll be very suprised if the frameset comes out at that weight.

You also have to add glue, grease and air.

All told, I suspect the build as planned will come out 100-200g above your current estimate. But that will still be light for C59 build.

Looks good to me! 8)

I'm also in the same boat regarding waiting for my frame. My build list is very similar, differences being wheels, tyres, saddle and bar tape.

Look forward to the photos!

Cheers,

Jon

I believe that at this moment is somewhere over the Atlantic ocean in the belly of the airplane on it's way to North America....

Now I am on my way to pick up Veloflex Extreme tires from post office. I am curious if the weight is what they claim. :D

Tires are in and the weight on them is a bit off. They claim 220g, but mine are 238g, 238g and the last one is at 242g.

One thing that I have to say that they look very nice and supple.
