Very nice. I'm not sure about that saddle though - it looks seriously draggy even without a bottle in it.

Nice TT bike! Maybe consider debadging the wheels?

Also, how about a glamour pic of the CL or S over there in the drive?!

As tough as it may be to get low, that basebar screams to be flush w/ the toptube! Take some Yoga classes and get that shouder and head down! :D Great bike!

Pantani - The saddle is Selle Italia's Time Trial/ Tri-specific saddle. There is a video on Selle Italia's website that shows just how clean the airflow is over and around the saddle. "Lowest CX penetration aerodynamics" - whatever that means?

Mr Evans' choice saddle on his TT rig during this year's TDF.

Thanks Johnny. Markus (Storck) is a good friend of mine. I give respect to his family name and long association with the cycling industry. You've got a good eye for cars. Well-spotted but since this is weight weenie forum and that car in the driveway is two-tonner I believe, so I am too shy to post it!

jimaizumi - I am way beyond the age of flexibility. No amount of yoga can help me to get into a flush top stem tuck position unlike Mr Evans' extreme position again.....

@Discoverspeed: beautiful bike you have there. I have been a fan of the Aero 2 ever since it got presented last year. One thing that saddens me a bit is that the "cool" feature of the recessed stem seems to be used by just about nobody. Looking at Faris, Pete Jacobs, Sundberg, Böcherer, etc, they all seem to end up with significant amounts of spacers and other handlebar configuration. Kind of a shame in view of the potentially slick setup.

It seems to me that with these new styles there is still some way to go to make this type of design work better.

Cheers
Jever

Yes, I think you're obligated to keep the stickers. Nice of you.

I think another photoshoot is in order ... this time shoot it in the garage.

I thought garage door was where photo shoots took place?
Those pedals though. Does Look make a black part in place of the red?
Anyway, that is minor esp. considering how amazing that bike looks overall!
I miss the Jerk because your stem is still too short.
Your saddle is probably too high as well.
Oh, and your cleats too far forward.

Can we get a closer look at the stem/ headset spacer? I can't see if it's all one piece and if so why the spacer is square- it seems quite wide?

Fantastic bike..wish I could get one of these for pursuit!

jever98 - indeed it seems to me that there are two setups: Show pose setup and practical riding setup. Unless one has long arms like Cadel Evans, it would be difficult to ride the flush/ below top tube horizontal stem position for an extended period of time. I think it is more a question of anatomical proportions rather than mere physical flexibility. Luckily Storck has listened well to feedback on their first batch of size 55s and have decided to widen the TT bar by 2cm (to 40 cm now) and added in loads of spacers for more fun riders like me. They are fully aware of the need to balance pose and ride.

redbeard - I am replacing those Keos with these Blade Aeros once they reach the local distributor. The clip is now black.

Tallboy - the spacer stack is made up of many pieces of triangular spacers (edges are rounded though) with the base spacer slightly larger. Very aerodynamic.

Posting some photos from my iPhone archive now - a bit dark as it was taken at night in my LBS. Will take more photos tomorrow in my garage

The stem's rear end is actually shaped like the spacers, making the spacer-stem area look like it is integrated one piece.
