Built this bike up and raced for the year, qualified me for the 2011 ITU World Championships in Vegas. Final weight as pictured is 14.1lbs. Did absolutely everything I wanted from tapered titanium nuts to Fiber-Lyte chainrings and HED aerobar customization.

How do the SRAM R2C shifters work with the 7900 Rear Der.?? Or does SRAM make a Shimano compatible version of the R2C shifters?

That's a pretty gangsta bike though.

Actually preferred the SRAM version of the R2C, with the Power Cordz cables and housing it actually gave a crisper throw and shift than the Shimano version. It took a little tuning but nothing I wasn't able to easily handle after a couple rides. Definitely a lot of trial and error to find everything just right.

Side note thanks for the photo comments, all photography done by www.jefffarsaiphotography.com !!!!

Just got picked up by new bike sponsor and 2011 World Championships has over 12000  of climbing in the bike leg so I am going a totally different build. Actually will be posting a thread for some ideas on an uber-lightweight TT bike. But that will have to wait for now. Thanks.
