*LOOKS AND POINTS*

HEY EVERYONE WE GOT A LINE JUMPER!!!!!

Hahahaha, jokes! Nice one mate! Cant wait to see it in the flesh on the inaugural GTG for the Baum Riders Club on WW... ;)

I thought it was a bit brash to jump on it only days after getting it and ride the M-W!!!

Good luck Saturday!

3 questions:

Frame weight?

What is this incident with the BH that no one is talking about?

How many biscuits for the frame?

Roobay :lol: check the thread title mate, it's steel :lol:

TD;

- check the OP

- everyone already knows (via Twitter), hence the the half sort of discussions. Long story short, bike got knocked over and tt was cracked. Insurance replaced it, but I still had to go without race bike for 2 months. Esp. annoying given I now have a PT that I could have been using.

- enough that my insurance covered most of it

I've just paid a deposit on a Corretto and will be visiting Darren and Co in December - I can't wait!

Hey, how many Baums are created compared to how many babies are born each year? I rest my case.

Raced it in the Melbourne to Warrnambool yesterday, which given the distance as well as the conditions :shock: would have found out if there were any flaws with the bike - there were none. The rider on the other hand..... :( But seriously, was certainly the type of bike I would want to be attempting a 262km race. I'll give more of a detailed ride report after a few more weeks of riding it and when I'm a little less knackered from racing.
What I can say is that the difference between steel and carbon was immediate. Honestly felt like I was riding with 80 PSI, I was staggered at how much more soft the ride was. Not that this means the bike flexed in any way, as there was not a hint at all of that yesterday - and if any flex was going to show up, chasing back after being dropped in 50km/h cross winds would have shown it.
