Updated with this picture which is almost how it looks now:
Image

Build done - Apart from the fork, which I wont cut until I have got a few longer rides on the bike and adjusted the fit (Sorry for the lousy picture) 6.30kg as shown:
Image
Just moved parts from the Neo to the Parlee.. I love the way it looks sofar - Just need a Crank to get it done.. Will most likely buy a SRAM RED with ceramic bearings Weight as pictured (sans Chain and Crankset) 5.13kg:
Image

My Parlee Z5 arrived... What a beauty :) - Frame geometry and size are so close to the Neo that I am sure it will be a perfect match..

Buildlist as it looks now - Don't have the BB30 crankset yet, will update weights as I move along, dunno when I get around to tear my Neo apart, but will most likely not be long :D :
Code:
Weights the ones with "actual" Is weighed by me, rest is listed and a few is guesses:
Z5 ML (Incl bottle screws and bearings for headset)  921g Actual
Fork Edge 2.0                                       371g Uncut Actual
Sram Force                                          1363 Actual
Crankset BB30 Red                                  700g
Zipp 202 (2008)                                     1100
Speedplay Light Action CroMo                         210
Seatpost Neo Exile                                   190 Actual
Seat Selle Italia SLR KIT Carbonio                   125
Specialized S Works SL Handle Bar                    225 Actual
Stem FSA OS-99 110 mm                                 98g Actual
Spacers Carbon Spacerset UltraSpace BHP-35, set       13g (For all?)
Bottle Cages                                        2x40
Total:                                              6073g

The Neo weighed 6.5kg with pretty much the same configuration.. So I guess that it will end up at around 6.2-6.3kgs which is fine for me!

don't care what anyone says, Parlees are the sexiest bikes out there. You either have one or wish you could get one. Enjoy bro, nice build list

Thanks - If I get the time I will move components this weekend.. Can't bloody wait to see it on wheels.
The only thing about this Parlee I would have wanted differently is Internal cable routing.. The finish/paint and joints are beautifully done, but I would not expect anything less at this price
Find it funny that it was delivered in a box from a Cervelo R3SL - Another lightweight...

Just spent a hour or two with a cup of coffee and set of tools. Got all parts moved from the Neo to the Parlee.
Just need the BB30 Crank.. I will buy a SRAM Red with Ceramic bearings I think..
Wondered if anyone have experience with removing decals from the Planet X Carbon bottle cages?

I decided to leave the Planet X decals alone on my Z4. I had one or two comments here about the decals not being up to the bike yada yada, but decided that the cages are actually bloody good, and deserved to keep their decals. Compared with a certain company's GBP 80 carbon cages with a funNy name, they are only a few grammes heavier, far cheaper (you could have 4 and a bit for the price of 1) and function much better.

Yeah I also love the Planet X cages - They are light, durable and have never dropped a bottle..
But I do think they are a little too "busy" with decal's..

I hand standed down my carbon cages to remove all decals and just have them nude. They looked a lot better when completed.

I am using the Planet Bike cages which hold the bottles very tight for carbon.

Nice Z5. I'm thinking about making the jump to a Z5. For the simple fact that it can be a timeless carbon if you can call a carbon bike timeless. Just having Parlee support (Crash, Paint, etc) is enough to jump from my R3SL.

Honest and sincere question ... looking at the number of spacers, why not go for the taller head tube?

Seriously awesome bike ... congrats!

Unlike the 'Twin Peaks' on the shelf this bike did give me one peak

Very nice! Looking forward to the finished product.

Shoot, we are going on two weeks here. Hopefully he has simply been too busy riding.

No not busy riding unfurtunatly :( - Busy working!
Will get the crank mounted this week, hopefully today.

With regards to the spacers,The frame was a one item sale in a shop. So if I wanted the longer headtube, it would have been another price. I most likely want the bar a bit lower than on the picture, just dident want to cut the headtube until I have tried it out. And it looked funny with so much headtube sticking out top.
