The colored saddles are available now. Got an orange one a couple days ago. Very pretty. Unfortunately was mistakenly shipped the fat american version instead of the SL so now I have to wait some more before I can put one on my bike. :evil:

I mailed him about the brakes. Suggested retail price he said was 650 Euros.... That´s 767 USD......
Since the brakes on the new record groups is the only component not containing carbon maybe well see that next year.. I think I´ll wait for those...

Are Record carbon brakes in development??? I had not heard that, that would be great: that and a compact crankset. :!:

Got some more info on the colored saddles this morning - there was supposed to be a flyer enclosed with the shipment that was left out. The colored saddles are all the heavier version (mine weighs 96g) due to differences in construction needed to produce the vivid colors. The use of kevlar which flexes more than the carbon requires more material to prevent durability problems. The ride is supposed to be similar to the lighter weight versions. I will let you know once I try it out.

I may have the only orange one in the world right now. I feel so special.
