Hi all!

This forum has some of the most consistently cool bikes I've seen

My bike isn't WW material but, here it is none-the-less "in progress"

80th anniversary Bottecchia SLX w/ Record 10-speed and some other stuff

sorry I don't know how to post photos yet

Very nice!

But part of me would love to see some period-esque wheels on it :(

Very Nice !

You know back when that bike was being raced it was my fav bike!
I use to drool over them when ever I saw one in Winning magazine.

I loved it & seeing yours reminds me of why. Such a beautiful bike..

Thanks for the memory...beautiful bike you have there... Really kind of cool to see one modernized with ergo shift, new era seat & pedals

PS: here is yours....All you need is the image location ( right click your pic & copy then paste here between the img-code )

At the time when I was drooling 1980's.....I was riding this Masi .....Actually with record pedals/toe clips for a couple years before I switched to Look's :)

Very very sweet!
Just get some low profile wheels and it's gonna be a cool ride.

Yes, it needs low profile wheels to be a period bike. Then weigh it for us!
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

Actually the *right* wheels would be some Fiamme's with sewups
