Norbert,

I know that you do not speak english very fluently but...How did you tensioned the spokes?? Can you show us a closer pic of the spoke-rim interface? Where were the hub internals taken from?

Thanks

tension: I make the rims with carbonspokes complete but without hubtube, than I pull the rigtht and the left spokeflange apart. under tension I glue the tube in. finish
picture: no my english is so good :smartass: I like to write. the spoke is only glued on the riminsite.
the front hub internals: two barings and a carbonaxis
the rear hub interials: there are heylight parts http://www.heylight.de/produkte/produkte.htm is a good friend

Ok, so the way you tension the wheel/spokes is similar to the way Spinergy did the Rev X wheels. They would take and push the spokes outward and lock them in place.

Not a bad way to do it.

How true are they when they come out?

Not bad. How about the vertical? .5mm also?

I am curious about the rim, what kind is it? Also, why are there 2 different versions shown for the rear? One with traditional spokes and one with a carbon disc?

What does the production version look like or how it will be finished?

That is just the opposite way to how Carbonsports build their wheels...

I wouldn´t trust very much in gluing the flanges with the hub body...but you know which one is the best method

Pics of the rim-spokes interface please...

yes the vertical its not a problem, the big problem from the rear wheel is the flat angle from the right spokes. I need a adjustable system. I have right fixt glued carbon spokes and left normaly steel spokes.
the wheels are only for my and good friends not a production.
the gluing parts (spoke and rim and flange) I made a stress test. its broken by 1500 N

Very Nice!

is it built for BB30, or will it use a custom BB? Also, what is going on with the drop outs? Are they a normal style? They look sort of like they will accommodate a through axle. . . ?

Very impressive!

This whole thread is impressive. Really interesting carbon fiber bits and frames.
