I was looking for a new bike to build and than I found this. The last high-end Pinarello build in Italy, in new condition. It isn't light at all (about 7,6kg as pictured) but the ride is so nice. Stiff, very very stable and the biggest surprise, comfortable even on cobblestones. The magnesium seems to dampen vibrations really well.

buildlist :

Pinarello Dogma FPX size 54
Campagnolo Record titanium 10spd
Most carbon seatpost
Most Lion Air handlebar
Most Tigerlite stem
Mavic Ksyrium ES
King ti cages
Specialized Toupé
Look Keo

the only thing I might change after my position is dialled in : Deda Zero100 handlebar. black handlebar tape, black tires, seatpost without logo (WR Compositi)

Nice. I was looking at one of those recently and I was suitably impressed.

Toupe might fits you but this frame is unhappy :(
Try something from Selle Italia, or San Marco. Aspide maybe feels similar to toupe...

I agree that the Toupé isn't the right choice for a Pinarello, but it'll stay until I find something that fits me better from prologo, fizik, selle...

this is what Pinarello says about it...

DOGMA® FPX Magnesium AK61 was and remains our proudest achievement to date. The Dogma project created a new category that has yet to be matched. Six years of research and development has resulted in the DOGMA FPX for 2007.
with the new ONDA FPX fork and rear chainstays the DOGMA® FPX Magnesium AK61 is a unique bicycle. There's nothing like it on the planet. Extremely comfortable yet totally ferocious on the road, the DOGMA® FPX is light, reactive, sharp, precise and powerful. It transmits all of the rider's power and explosiveness, from each and every stroke of the pedal, into forward motion.
The DOGMA® FPX is cycling at it's maximum expression.

post yours !

Beautiful - much nicer than the carbon replacement (and probably lighter too!)

The grand-daddy of them all!
Very nice build, really loving the black and white theme, understated elegance I say!
And even when you change those few things it will still look awesome!
Even though it is a couple of years older than some rides on here, it looks like it can roll with the best of them without issue!
What were you riding before this?

Looks sweet SLight!
