Hey! I'm a "yank" and I care! I care!
I'm really looking forward to the Criterium International this weekend. Anyone else? It should be real interesting with the line up.
Here's the

I think I figured out Cav's "dental problems" that's been holding him back. Dude got him some braces!
Look closely and you can see they're the clear kind you can get so it doesn't look like you have a mouth full of metal.
- Zipp rims will break if you look at them too hard
- R-Sys wheels will spontaneously explode
- The ZG crankset will never, ever exist
- Everyone needs Lightweights, even if they're fat and old
- Parts actually made of metal are SO 10 years ago

Vino does a really good effort today, he has lost Armstrong for crying out loud!
Speed isn't going to kill you. Suddenly becoming stationairy, that is what's gonna get ya'!

Not sure if this is the right place to get into doping issues but still;
I find it a bit "funny" that Liquigas makes Beltran pay for being doped in the '08 Tour and states: "We also believe it is a historic event for the whole world of cycling, as well as an important precedent in the battle to protect the sporting ethic." Which is a good thing, dopers should pay, BUT this comes from the same team that was joined by Ivan Basso right after his dope ban, and the contract was signed several months before the doping ban was over...

?
Looks like they are making a statement on doping, as they did in the offseason and invited journalists to their training camps. Which extends to basso, as they feel he's done all that was required by him from the uci and is now racing clean.
No different really to garmin's culture of racing clean and having David Millar in their squad.

Ivan Basso wasn't actually banned for doping, he was banned for attempted doping

Haussler out of Flanders and P-R.
Nuyens in doubt for Flanders, Freire refusing to ride as he (quote from his ds) "afraid of the Muur van Geraardsbergen." in addition to wanting to focus on the Amstel Gold race.

Yeah HH being out totally ruins my fantasy team. I was counting on him winning some stuff this classics season.

Anyone have Sylvain Chavanel in their team?
I don't generally dig fantasy comp's, but if I did I would have popped him in.
Can you transfer him in? Surely he'd cost less than Heinrich.

Does that mean the French riders have already surrendered?
I kid, I kid.
