Looking forward to getting this thing built... Slightly lardier wheels should help you keep up on the flats, Mr Sawyer! ;-)

Excellent looking bike.

Amazing really, so many companies struggle to find their "look" but Giant has just nailed the aesthetics thing and with such a simple formula. Will probably never appear dated.

My trainer. Certainly not WW approved, but I'm here to learn and it's getting the job done for the time being. At nearly 175lbs the easiest way for me to shave grams is drop body fat ;)
2009 TCR Alliance 1 with Ultegra SL. Looking at stems, handlebars, and cranksets for my next upgrades. (I know, the front wheel is on backwards, I was drunk or really tired when I put this together last).

On the 2010's, are you running inline adjusters, or fitting some sort of barrel adjuster into the stops?

The 2010 frameset comes with barrel adjusters though you may be able to get away without them. I haven't checked since with Di2 I won't be using them!

My new frame...:

...and my new wheels:

Built will be completed with a Shimano Ultegra 6700 groupset, and I am thinking about a 3T stem and 3T bars (I like the black & white scheme and I don't fancy the idea of a carbon fibre stem and bars). Saddle will probably be a white Selle Italia SLR Gelflow.

...but I am open to suggestions...

Anybody know the weight of 2009 TCR Advanced 3 Frame, Forks and Seat post? M/L frame.

ok, it is actually 6.9kg, i have had it checked, not sure whare my scales where getting 7.1kg. My spreadsheet of parts is coming out that it shuold be 6.7kg, but i put that down to manufacturer weights being wrong.

Just need good weather and grit free roads to take it for a ride!

Nice. It looks like white is the new black/carbon or whatever colour is/was most popular......
I'm going to have to spraypaint my TCR so I don't feel so outdated
