no iam sorry,
i tryed to tell that in the shop i used to work (kivada wielersport in berlicum nederland)a lot of old fooks would have a vitus or an allan, back in the days they would have spend quite a bit of cash and back than they had the best bike possibly(they thought) so they were ridding these bikes for years and years, because there they were verry happy with them (or there wifes were wearing the wallet!)
what i can see happen is that i stil will be rididng my pegoretti in 20 years, because i belive there is no better bike!! the marcelo works perfect for me, the geometry fits me verry well aswell as its degree of stifness,
if i would be a milonair i would love to get a big leg emma aswell for crits, but then again iam not yet doing crits!!
jowan in belgium is the oficial pegoreti importer to speak with.....
cheers

If you've got the shekels to spend on a Peg, which are very excellent frames BTW, you might also look into a Richard Sachs as well. Top o' the line, as they say.

I believe, Richard has 2 year waiting list.
Last, I heard from Sasha from Vanilla Bicycles was that he has 10 month waiting list.

Pegoretti is only about 2-1/2 months, or you could even get a stock frame from him.

Yeah, that's a tough one if it's really 2 years. But you know what they say: "Good things come to those who wait."
Meanwhile, how about an Orbea Spirit!

It seems like marcelo is best selection from all of his offering.
Personally I think the Duende is the way to go if you can get your hands on one. I know our stock on them is low...

Well it wont be so bad if you have another bike to ride for 2 years eh.
Not my bikes but from folks over at RBR.

If I were to buy a Peg, the Duende is the way I'd go. The rear triangle would probably suit me better than that on the Marcelo, and the price is nicer.
Hello,
With all the talk about lightweight premium steel road frames what about Waterford's flagship R33? Does anyone have one? Do they have a good balance regarding racing performance and putting in those long training miles? Durability?
Regarding classic steel how about one made by Chris Kvale in Minneapolis?

i dont want to be a smart ass but iam wondering why do you want a steel frame wich is really light?it sounds like the weight seems to be an important factor ?i found that in my size 60/59 mc the frames under 1750 are noodles, that is for roadbikes and for mountain bikes.that swhy so happy with my pegoretti, acording to dario pegoretti the marcelo is his most selling frame but isnt always sold to the wright person,a marcelo in 52 cm is a bit overdone.
btw what is youre weight and height?
cheers michel

"Anvil"? Not the best name for a lightweight bike frame, is it?
