Upgrade my bike from TCR carbon===>Scott CR1 Any suggesti

Hi everybody here!
This is my favourite place when i surfing on the web.
Now i need some suggestion form everybody here.
I think i'm going to upgrade my bike from TCR carbon===>Scott CR1 only frame will be change.
I think Scott is very nice frame to ride, Otherwise my TCR still the best frame i used to ride.

PS.Scott CR1 just available in my country and not difficult to get anybody like to have one?

I would stay with the Giant.
List the specs, maybe someplace else you can save weight if you want to do that?

With that oversize clamp its very strong stem and weight 138 gram also come with titanium screw!
Its expensive but i like its appearance with smooth, very nice finished and 99% carbonfiber except screw tread!
I plan to use Scott CR1 for this year and may be change again for TCR ADVANCE for 2005
Any riding characteristic difference between those frame?

Its a prototype for 2004 .
It's a full carbon wing-shape handle bar made in TAIWAN.
I got it from my friend when i was visited TAIWAN last year.
My handle bar weight around 220 gram and REALLY STIFF!
You can find many brand with some similar design for 2004.
But this one is not so expensive because i got it with out anybrand.
(i personally know the guy who made this products)

Fsa makes that handlebar, its called K-wing. about 240 g tho. but i do not think your gonna save 150 g going from the giant to a scott c1r. frame alone on the giant is 972.5 g and the scott is 885 g in a small size. you will save under a 100 grams. if your set with the giant stay with it, unless you got that cash, then im all for it.
the guy who got my cat brakes says he can get the scott unbranded also. i was looking into that.

It's not the K-Wing, that has upswept tops which this doesn't.

my mistake looks just like it tho.
Nice bike, but you should either wait on the new gaint or just get the CR1 and be happy with it. I'm saying wait for the new Giant. It should be a better value for the money and a nicer ride. It's been used in the tour for the last 2 years, and should be very finely tuned. Just be patient, good things come to those who wait.

if its really an issue of saving weight, you can easily save over 200 grams in the seatpost, seat (if you relaly wanted to, but the tune is light) and by switching from shit-mano to campy. Its a lot lighter and you'll get much better function. There you go, now your bike is under 12 lbs probably.
