Cordz are compatible with nokons for shifting. You do need to modify the housing to use the brakes cordz. http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum ... powercordz theres an explanation of how to modify them in this thread.
madcow, GREAT BIKE!
I love the look of the TI and the front fork really looks good in this frame.
Nice change from all the cr1's we see here lately. How does it ride?
I still see some components that could be a bit lighter though
keep up the good work!
PS: mike, it may look like a lot of work to fiddle with the nokon pearls, (ok, it is a lot of work) but it really isn't that hard.

Hey madcow
that Ghisallo sure looks awesome.. I also have a Ghisallo (large).. with the SLX Fork... sure is a nice ride...
So how do you like the Pulsion cranks? I was also looking into the BTP aramid front der clamp.. how is it holding up?
The Ghisallo is such a great frameset.. I'm sure it's a great joy to own...

Very nice Madcow! This bike surely is a real upgrade from all those CR1's we have seen lately! Please keep us informed about your rides. Any future upgrades in mind?

It rides very nice, though not with the 110 gram tires. With the 215's. Fast, stable, reliable. I don't ride it much anymore, now it is another display bike in the shop.

The pulsion cranks are very nice, light, plenty stiff, and shift great. The BTP clamp is holding up really well, I broke the first one installing it, but this one has had no problems.

The reynolds wheels, 1205 grams, they were not the KOM's. Ride was nice, very comparable to Race XXX Lites.
The Matrix Elite wheels, 1070grams. No feedback on the ride of them, will not get to really ride them until this weekend. Light, Aero and stiff so far, but no real test of them yet. Putting them on 2 bikes this weekend, ghisallo and 585 project. Will test them and post some info.
