what bad experiences do you have with s-tec? I'm thinking about buying bike from them so I would like to know, what should I expect.

hello!
when i picked up the bike in the shop (after 600km driving), they had some different wheels and diff. handlebars on it.
i spoke with the chief before on the phone, and told him i need the bike the same as they show it on their homepage, But with pro handlebars (just as my bike looks now)
instead of that, i found the bike with fsa handlebars, and some cheaper "stec-edition-wheels" which are coloured silver and black.
also they had no tune lever skewers. in a rush, he grabbed some wheels from another bike, which -it turned out later on-
had a massive run out.
when i ordered the bike, the chief told me on the phone, he would give a discount as i was also going to buy some new shoes, bike computer, etc.
none of them was true..
in the shop, some staff even tried to cheat me, claiming, those bloody wheels were "better and more expensive" than
the normal ones.
finally i had to pay more for my proper lightweights, he charged me for the pedals and bottle cages too. also the pro handlebar cost me more.
he even wanted money for a pair of keo-shoeplates
all the adjustment to fit the frame and everything else was unprofessional.
staff was unfriendly, some of them were even aggressive.
the bike went for export (germany - switzerland), so the shop had to pay me
the sales tax after purchase. it took 6 months till i got my money.

It looks like you need to finish taping your bars.
Here's mine in blue:
Right at 6900 grams with:
Campy SR 11 speed
Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio
ControlTech Carbon Stem ("Unit") and Bars ("Comp")
Reynolds MV32C UL (clinchers)
Speedplay Zero stainless
Serfas Cirque SL cases
Cateye V3
Should drop to about 6400 with Reynolds DV46T UL's tubulars and few other small adjustments.

Sexy bike! Love that frame, the black and white lettering is slick yet simplistic. The intergrated seatpost is just one of many things that stand out on the Ridley Noah.

Hey gang:
Looking for some help. Just got my 09 Ridley Noah frame at a sweet price and plan on building it up in the next few weeks as I gather up the components.
My dilemma is that I'm not 100% sure how the internal cables are routed coming out of the bottom bracket area to the derailluers inpaticular the front derailluer. If possible could some kind noah owner take a picture of what theirs looks like? If so let me know and I'll shoot off my e-mail address or ?
Thanks
