Anyone can chime in that actually own or ride with owners of DA7900 shifters, assembling a 58cm ti frameset and working on cockpit. Total noob when it comes to road geared bikes. Already have the Thomson seatpost and 100x10 X2 stem. Question is the handlebar --- whats the new drop style that fits the Dura Ace 7900 shifters? I've been recommended to go with 44cm, 6'1" wide shoulder rider. Prefer aluminum for material.

Liked what I saw in the 3T Ergonova. What's this between short and shallow vs. deep? Like a typical classic drop too, but again, depends on fitment with DA7900. I was told by tech go flat to the shifters, not a drop or a rise. Input? :beerchug:

Attached picture is the frameset. Don't mind the Ambrosio wheelset or the Record headset, they're just placeholders as I wanted to size up the frame.

While I'm not on 7900 levers (how I wish I was), I just switched to Pro Vibe 7S Round bars based on reading this thread. Towards the bottom of the first page you can see the flat transition they get with 7900 levers (and seemingly SRAM and Campy too). They come in a few different shapes as well (seen here).

Beeseebee: Thanks for the link. Just what I was seeking. This is the picture you mentioned of the Thor signature Pro Vibe handlebars with Dura-Ace 7900 shifters (source: bikeradar).

Classy pic mate! Naked frame on a pile of books! Awesome! Looking forward to the completed built! Btw. Have you considered Deda Newton Shallow as a bar. Typical sprinter shape and would go well with the frame I think. They also do a carbon version (Deda Campione if I'm right).

I just tripped into the local bike shop on Piedmont Avenue and my goodness, does the PRO Vibe look the sex. All their Prince's, Moots and Look's have the Vibe's on them, dialed in with Super Record. Thanks for the suggestion, gotta go with the Vibe, cheesy as the name is.

Ooooh, ergolevers are specific to Campy, got it. The transition was flat like all ravers of the Pro's have said. Again, Pro's Campy Record Super 11 for the win. DA7900 for my own.
