@FACT: I was almost beginning to think a decent looking Tarmac didn't exist! Luckily, you convinced me of the contrary! Very nice indeed.

Thought I better step up and show off this 09 Saxo Bank SL2 with RED, fsa stem, post and bars. Since pics I have acquired the new 2009/2010 404 tubies.

I have to say... never been a big fan of the Saxo Bank color scheme, but this build is THE classiest Tarmac I have ever seen.

I really love the perfectly matching deep blue handlebar tape and the deep blue SLR saddle. Everything topped off with classic wheels and classic tires.

Very, very nice work indeed!

its more the case that a frame with big tubes needs a bit more higher rims
the sidewalls of the tires make the wheels look smaller to
i know these sidwalls are classic but all dark would look better :smartass:

the wheels dont look classic because the rims and spokes are black
however i agree that some bora s would look fantastic on this bike

Two nice bike's. But as tochnics was saying, a pair off high wheels looks much nicer as on the first Saxo Tarmac . But that's my opinion. Maybe a nice pair off Reynonlds Assault? For the rest, enjoy your rides.

Nice bike, I plan a new bike and perhaps a Tarmac SL3.

But where is the battery on our frame ?????

Thanks.
