Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed ✔ FIXED
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken ✔ FIXED
- Avatars cannot be uploaded ✔ FIXED

Please note that we will soon do some changes in WW board template design in case to get a fully mobile/desktop responsiveness board!

That seems to be a servomotor widely used for miniature robots. Wonder how large the controller is though :mrgreen:

It's not surprising that someone has combined a servo with a derailleur. I think there's a large potential market for this if the DA system takes off. Some cleverness with the controller is needed, but the servo side of things should be relatively painless. Using an off the shelf servo would also make sense so you can swap it out for much less than a whole new assembly.

In my view the servo is not the limiting factor here. There are a wide range of models (size, weight, speed, torque, output) My other hobby is electric model helicopters. Servos nowadays can directly drive a large model helicopter to do 3D flying (continuously spinning the heli on 1 or 2 axes while doing an airplane aerobatic maneuver). To do this on a large heli you're looking at moving a 5kg load on servo horn 3cm long faster than your fingers can move. Front derailleurs no problem.

I've seen this bike in person as well. The guy did a cool job building his own bike and his own DI2. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he made the DI2 for 50 euros.
During a ride I was behind Norbert (the owner of the bike) and one thing really struck me. His fork was very flexy and constantly wobbling.

Norbert also made his own wheels. Better check the pics as well as you can guys ;)

it is very very cool that he has build his own bike from the bottum up! Respect!! I would really like to be able to do that too! Those wheels, are they campagnolo alloy with a home made carbon cover on? They look very cool!
Frankie, do you know some of the weights on his parts? Aspecially the aerobars and his seat/post combo :)
