Do it!

Only live once!

Plus, how often are they going to be around in your size???

The trick is to tell the bank manager that this is going to be a project that will keep you amused for the next 6 months - minimum. That way she won't have you in her hair and annoying her :D

thanks, it's not like I need any encouragement. I think it might even be a riden once and returned bike.

I'll ride my Dream again and see if I remember and like the feeling and handling well or not.

I have been asking about the C55 for about a year I think.

From what I understand the eps is similar to the ep, along with the headset.

So the C55 will be similar to the C50 with a intergrated headset.

Of course could all be bull. I'll ask when I ask about $$ for the size 64cm EPS

Finally convinced myself I needed a high end weight weenies-ish bike. I tried to pull out all the stops, or at least all the reasonable ones.

Frameset: 51cm Colnago Extreme-C
Group: Super Record 11
Wheelset: Fulcrum Racing Speed
Tires: Vittoria Corsa Evo
Seatpost: Colnago 28.0mm carbon
Seat: Selle San Marco Aspide
Bar/stem: Pro Stealth Evo 42cm x 90mm
Tape: Cinelli Tennis/Volee Tape
Pedals: Speedplay Zero cro-moly
Bottle Cages: Campagnolo Record [bought the pair for $55 shipped :)]

Im very very happy with the bike as it is. I have a black 28.0 Thomson seatpost on the way. And that may be the only change I would currently make. I originally wanted Lightweights, but the ones I wanted the deal fell through. But for half the price, the Fulcrum Racing Speeds are awesome, I love how noisy the freewheel is. Now hopefully, the Vector Speedplay powermeter are eventually released; that would make the bike perfect in my eyes. Hrm.. well, maybe a green Tune or Chris King headset just so everything isnt so monotonous.

No i think i did something stupid, and sold my C40 because of my never ending neck pain.
I simply needed a bigger frame, but could not afford a new NAGO. So now i ride a Cannondale, witch runs nice, but its just not the same isn't it. And now i really miss a Colnago

I am 180cm and my c40 was a 54cm, my new cannondale is a 56cm witch gives a little more height.

Dont worry, you`ll get another Colnago. From 56 to 58 would be your size, right?

I really hope so, and yes i think so to, 56 fits me better. Even though i think that a 54 looks better, but then again yours look perfect, and thats a 58 right?

Here's my build.

Image

Frameset: 53cm Colnago Master X-Light
Fork: Easton EC90 SL (just wanted to lighten the front end a tad)
Headset: Chris King
Group: DA 7900
Wheelset: DA7800 hubs, Mavic Open Pro 28H, DT Revo 2X with red alloy nipples
Tires: Hutchison Fusion 700x23
Seatpost: Colnago 27.2 carbon, cut down to 240mm
Seat: Selle San Marco Concor Light
Bar: my 8yr old 42cm ITM ergolight (the only old bit from my previous 2 rides)
Stem: Colnago ITM 4-bolt 110mm, (bought titanium bolts on a whim)
Tape: Lizard Skins DSP (I like the feel of these)
Pedals: DA7800
Extras: Jagwire bits, Hudz hoods,
Bottle Cages: Skinny alloy cages from GIANT (bought them at a shop in Taipei while touring)

Additional comments
a) I tapped the bottom bracket to accept a M5 stainless screw for the cable guide
It was supplied with a self tapping screw which I didn't fancy
Image

b) Couldn't resist putting on these Jagwire bits
Image

c) the bar tape and the hudz hoods...well to use a recent ex-Singapore beauty queen coined's word
- "BOOMZ" -
A rather comical episode....but that's truly another story.

Upgrade wishlist
a) Enduro Zero Ceramic BB - worth the upgrade??
b) Shimano PRO Vibe carbon handlebar - maybe matched to a colnago cinelli graphis 31.8 stem (if i can find)
I do like the Pro Vibe stems though
c) Dura Ace CL-24 clincher wheels or built DT Swiss 190's
d) A Colnago Extreme Power....haha!

Mine is 57, with Deda Newton 130 mm stem. Actually, I think 56 would be perfect for me, with 140 mm stem.
What bothers me a litlle with "57" is the seatpost .... see what I mean?! :D But then again, I like bigger frames :D
