Cervelo RS / Storck Absolutist 0.9 / Storck Scenario 1.0

Hi!
I'm driving me crazy to choose my new bike....
I like a light one (about 6.5kg, complete bike), but I want a confortable one....
At last, I've got 3 frames to choose:
Cervelo RS Giro D'Italia
Storck Absolutist 0.9 (100€ less than Cevelo)

Storck Scenario 1.0 -not the CD 1.0 - (300€ cheaper than the Absolutist). It's a new one model.

THe Scenario1.0 is heavier than Absolutist (more or less as the Cervelo) , and it has got 1 1/8 steer headset (1 1/8 and 1 /4 in the Absolutist), but it's cheaper and it's so beautifull...
THe Storck has got only 2 years of warranty, while Cervelo is all life warranty....
Please, help me....

As Storck distributor, I will not get into which brand you should choose, but I can tell you the differences between the Storcks.

The Absolutist 0.9 and Scenario CD 1.0 is very close in stiffness, so that is a toss-up. The Absolutist is about 100 grams lighter and more comfortable, as the Absolutist series has a bit more "rounded" ride.

The Absolutist 1.0 is actually even more comfortable, but a bit less stiff and around 100g heavier.

Which do you prefer, the Scenario 1.0 or the Absolutist 0.9???
(Scenario is 300€ less than Absolutist)

yes, the Storck are more "aggresive" than Cervelo, but that's the frames that I like.....

You like the look of them, or you've ridden them and like the performance?

Liking the look of something is one thing, but the geometries are COMPLETELY different - I'm not so sure you've fully considered this...

No, I haven't ridden any of them (and I can't do it...)
Now I've got an "old-school" Alan Supercarbonio, so any of them is so different from my actual frame.....

Like most Storck questions, geometry is central. How long of a head tube do you want? Ex: A Cervelo RS in my size would have 160mm HT while the Absolutist in my size has a 115mm HT.

Exactly my point - Storck are very low at the front whilst the RS is very high. Carbon_Cowboy presents a perfect example where a 54cm RS has a 160mm headtube and the storck has a 115mm, 45mm difference... which is HUGE!!

Remember that the Storcks has a fork length app. 12 mm longer than the Cervelo. So you need to add that to the head tube length. But of course, there's still a fair difference.

I'm 1m73cm (5.67 ft) tall and 80cm (2.62ft) insame, so I think I need a 51 size in both of them:
Storck 51: TT 537 (slooping), HT 115
Cervelo 51: TT 532, HT 140
Hummmm.......

Yes. I´m also 173 cm/81cm inseam, and ride a 51, which is a perfect fit for me. Remember the longer fork, which makes the headtube lengths almost the same.

1.73m here also. I ride a size 51 Storck and if I bought a Cervelo(R3 not RS) it would be a 54 w/ a 73 degree stem to get closest to position I have on my Storck. The Storck has a Effective TT length of 549mm vs. 532 for the RS that is also quite a difference. What is saddle to bar drop and cockpit length right now?

Where do people get fork length information? It seems that's rarely published but has a profound effect on the fit.

The Storck does have a very low rake fork, that at least is obvious. More stable than would be suggested by the head tube angle.

I think now I've got a "saddle-to-bar" distance of 52-53cm (I don't really know exactly), with a 11 cm stem (Ritchey WCS)
