I'm somewhat new to the forums but I lurk daily. What is the order by date?

Rob

It is mentioned in the second post. The deposit is due on 10/30/09. I have now made it stand out a bit more.

Here is a link to Pearl Izumi's site for a sizing chart:

Ok ... now I'm confused. Castelli's sizing chart is off from Pearl Izumi.

I'm gonna try some Pearl jerseys this week, I'll put some Castelli stuff on too for comparison. I bet they are made in the same factory in China, along with my Bianchi and Pinarello. LOL

i didn't save it just because i might get questioned if someone ever saw it

On the sizing note, yesterday as I put up this thread I sent an email to Squadra to confirm what bugman found out. Squadra has a sizing chard as well and between Castelli, Squadra and Pearl Izumi it's basically identical so i believe you'd be safe trying on pearl izumi stuff.

As I can see from the charts they are far from identical. Let's take me for example: chest - 39, waist - 31.
PI: Chest - M (38-40), Waist - S (29-31). Most likely need to choose S not to have a huge bubble around waist.
Castelli: Chest - L (39-41), Waist - S (29,5-31,5). Weird sizing, likely need to choose S because of that bubble thing.
Squadra: Chest - M (37-39), Waist - M (30-32). Seems to be easy - M is the size, but all the talks about similar fit to PI make me worry.

What's the material jersey is made from? Is it stretchy to provide skin-fit (like Assos FI.13) or not?
Another thing, on Squadra site one can see in jersey section: "Race cut or relaxed club cut for both Men and Women". Which one is going to be ordered?

race cut is the one being ordered.

The only information I have about fit is what i've been told and that is all mentioned on here. I would not bother trying to compare Squadra and Castelli in terms of sizing. They broke their ties a year ago, the only reason castelli was mentioned in the first place is because I felt more people were familiar with Castelli than simply Squadra.

"What's the material jersey is made from? Is it stretchy to provide skin-fit (like Assos FI.13) or not?"... When I called Squadra, the sales rep told me "Our jersey fabric is plush and stretchy, very comfortable, really nice.".

"race cut is the one being ordered"... Thanks!

great initiative! will order some if i can get my head round that amount of orange!

I'll be honest, I think you should have canvassed more opinion before designing the kit. but maybe it looks a lot better in person. would be really nice to see some actual photos of it.
