The stripped saddle wasn't done so on purpose. My buddy actually had it in his parts bin as the cover ripped off on him; I thought that it might work well on a cross bike as you're only on it 45-60 mins at a time. It's been perfectly comfy so far...no problems.
Nice bike, how much does that frame weight? Bottle and bottlecage on a cyclocrossbike for racing is so wrong,

Updated the original post with the upgrades that I've made over the last couple of years. I need to get a new weight and better pic on it.
I like the frame and actually have a second Crosso that I use as a pit/do everything bike, so I have no plans of getting a new frame anytime soon...maybe until I decide to jump to discs. I may just have the frames stripped and repainted this winter...decisions decisions.
