so while most of the world is still waiting, G5 is already available in Taiwan. can't blame anyone though, they're made there!

What does this bike do better than the other bikes on the market (like the Trek Madone, Cervelo R3, Spec Tarmac, etc)? Are they a lot cheaper to buy?

Claimed weight is 800 grams. Any verified numbers?

What it does better than other bikes? It looks like it was built from a "wish list": tapered head tube, BB30, ISP, skinny seat stays, "aero" cut-out on seat tube.

But honestly I'm skeptical of the mass claim: each of these "wish list" items, except the seat stays but additionally the paint, adds frame mass. (BB30 trades frame mass for hardware mass).

that's what I want to know as well.
I asked the frameset owner the same question, still waiting for a reply.

the seatpost/clamp design remains the same as G4, which is horrible IMO..

In comparison, 56 cm Trek Madone-6 is claimed @ 890 grams, according to the El Camino Bicycles blog. I'd guess the BH is somewhat heavier than this, given the shaped seat tube and the longer seat mast.

bh geometry is a bit different than other brands... they use extremely short chainstays. standard race geometry bikes will have 405-410mm chainstays, whereas the bh uses 402s. this, coupled with a lot of bb drop, gives them different handling characteristics than a lot of other brands. they're pretty "jumpy" with such a short wheelbase, but you can carve them through corners well.

it's a frameset + matchaing parts and only 10 sets available (in Taiwan, not in the whole world, so I was told)

Don't know about the G5 but traditionally BH have had more relaxed seat tube angles than most so it also make then a good potential fit for women or short guys. We bought SWMBO a Cervelo RS to get the 73 degree seat tube in a small size. At that stage we thought it was the Cervelo range in a 51cm or a custom frame to get her required geometry. Found out later several BH frames had even more relaxed seat tube angles :roll: ...
