Did you get one of those Fibre-lyte carbon cages or a Tiso bolt kit or something?

Titanium is being put in place of every steel bolt on the RD, not just the cable clamp or pulley bolts, EVERYTHING.

Should be sub 170g.

Even the AC front hub sucks. Avoid wet days by any means, I found lots of water inside them after a heavy shower of only 10 minutes...

@dr.dos: do you have the new version with screw-in endcaps. I have raced in rain with mine and no water.

I sent back my 2004 set for a full refund quite a time ago.

Looking at SL's bike reminds me of passage from LA's book.
LA calls over one of the mechanics... "Can you have a look at my bike?"
The mechanic comes back "Whats wrong Lance?".
Lance replies "There's comething wrong with the chain."
The mechanic then probes "Whats wrong with the chain?"
To which Lance replies "It doesn't feel like it's there..."

pro cyclist humour...

if I remember correctly he was trying to raise spritits within the team as one of the guys was struggling.
"Ride it like you've just stolen it!"

*snort* was that around the same time as the "we're all buddies, we all go fly-fishing together"?

I have a set of wheels that is very simular. I have 2005 Amer. Classic hubs laced to Nimble Spider rims on both wheels. The front is radial laced with bladed spokes. I weigh 180 and these wheels are stiff!! Ive only used them for a few races, but no problems yet.
