i got a 2004 giant nrs... built the frame from the old parts off my giant xtc, but the forks, brakes, and crankset are still to be upgraded.

My wonderful trailbike...portly but more fun than a barrel of monkeys on crack. Always keeps me smiling. Pedals like a hardtail and opens up with 5 incredibly responsive inches of travel on both ends when it needs to. Now with new Panaracer Fire FR 2.4's front and rear.

Also, I got '05 lowers for my '04 Manitou Minute, the main difference being the trick laser-etching on the '05. No decals to worry about coming off. In fact, no decals on them anywhere at all: clean as a baby's bottom.

My sweet single speed mtb. Wow only 28.25 lbs with the basket. Its not a sledgehammer, but its still sweet.

this is my bike and mam i love it, its been around and i even did mount tam on it!rode in tassie and other parts of australia, did a lot of eurpe dolomites in italy lots in belgium,best i ever had in the mean time i bought and sold the followonig bikes,moots ybb, fat change ti and yo eddy,schwinn homegrown.iam really happy withe the way it steeres and it handle big ring stomping!!it makes me verry happy!!

i 'made' a chain suck device from an old titec 118 ti bar after i crashed that one, bended it bit more and molded on the chainstays glued on with a two part glue and polished it.it works pretty good,

iam gonna list it ones it ready needs a different bottombracket and a normal spoke patern!!!

they are the most shity thing you can imagine, and their even done by a bad mechanic, i bought the wheels second hand, but i did changed it yet.they make the bike feel you ridding on elastic wheels,verry verry bad indeed!

Having rigid bike instead of suspensios you save weight, I also prefer rigid MTB for racing activities.

i was more thinking about saving your body from the impact of the terrain with front suspension. Especially in the mountains this is almost paramount, unless you go out for short rides.
Also in long climbs you may need a small ring to relax your legs a bit.

I love to ride a rigid bike with only 2 front rings on training and in most one-day conditions , it's fast and you learn to read the track.
But for example for multi-day 100K a day ventures in the hills I will mount a small ring and front suspension. I am no masochist

its defenytly not the fasted set up imagineble, but this is who i like it with the 32-34 gearing i get everywere, ullrich style,and on technical rock sestions i loose terain on guys who have suspension.i ques it sounds pretty stupid to say that you feel the terain more like this, lets used say i like the feel of this!i would like to add the python 2.35 tyres but no body is selling them!!!
