That is begging for some nice handbuilt wheels - NOS Campy Record Hubs, Ambrosio Metamorposis Tubular Rims, Veloflex Criterium. What about Campy Record 8sp as well

yes that is one of my favorite colnago piant jobso on that frame.

I always wanted one with high polished 9 speed record, the last all alu version and the polished record hubs w/ lo pro rims.

I'm sure any way you go with it, it should come out and ride great.
