Please, let's not whine over a skin now and solve the other growing pains first.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'm liking the upgrade.
Is the search feature not working right yet? Or am I having issues?

I just get this erro message:
It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.
That should be solved now:
Btw. it has become veeery slow to post after the upgrade. It takes like 10 seconds from you hit submit until something happens.
That's something I've noticed as well, I'll look into this next.
And why can't I go back and edit my posts anymore after a few minutes?
It's set to 10 minutes, afterwards editing doesn't work anymore. I'll disable this limitation.
Regarding the subsilver2 theme: I'll start a poll on what to choose as theme.
edit: The poll is now online.

Did you search for a word with less than 4 chars?
If yes, then this is the reason.
I've selected MySQL fulltext indexing which doesn't recognise words with less than 4 chars.
I'm thinking of switching to phpBB3's native indexing method which doesn't have this limitation, but I need to be sure this (aside from inflating the DB size) doesn't decrease the speed of the forum before I do this.
Hi,
I was just wondering if you're able to set it so that when we click on a hyperlink within a post to a picture or other page, if you can set it so that it opens a new windows explorer window, rather than going to it and replacing the weight weenies page you have open... i keep closing the screen thinking it's opened a new one and then we can look at a picture etc and reply to a thread at the same time... thanks...

What limitation does phpBB3's native indexing have? 3 chars?
With the old phpBB2 forum you couldn't search for words with less than 3 chars. But 3 char words like BMC worked.

That can be pre-defined before building the index, even 2 chars should be possible (though it would be a performance killer).
I think I'll change the indexing to the native method.
From what I've read it's at least a bit faster for searches on boards with many postings than the MySQL index, which is most likely also the reason for the very slow performance when you submit a new posting.
When I do this the board will be offline for a few hours because unlike the MySQL index creation the native one can't be run effectively in the background.
Is it possible to have a summary appear when you hover over a subject line? Would be good to see the general gist of the post without click on it

Nice work guys!!
I was going to post some problems but looks like you have corrected mine.
Place looks up-to-date but still feels like the old home.
Are you gonna keep the home page retro for historical reasons?
This place has come a long way in the last few days. Feels like when I replaced my 13yr old Bianchi with the current one. The bike was top-of-the-line back then and timeless, but I needed to update.
Thanks for bring this forum to the 21st century (^_^).
