The rails of the SpeedNeedle saddles are 8x 10 mm oval shaped.

I think that the New Ultimate should fit the speedneedle saddle - it's the same seatclamp-design as the Tune and the Extralite posts!

Well, the bolts have to be loooong enough. And, yes we can always put in longer bolts.

USE Alien with OS head only works if you file away between 1.5mm and 2mm off the clamp head. I have done this successfully.

Moots Straight Laced and Laid Back - Seat posts are NOT compatible with the speedneedle.

Just before ordering my M2Racer seatpost I inquired about it's compatability with the Tune Speedneedle and was told this combination will work...

A good friend has just recieved the New Ultimate post and will be using it with the Speedneedle - attached is the picture I got of the combo yesterday.

I had a M2racer post and it did not work with my Tune speedneedle. I couldn't clamp the post enough to make the seat tight......rails were too big. Clamp could be filed a bit bigger and it would work I assume
