The looks are brilliant even with the high number of spokes. The Look is fantastic looking too, by the way - black/white theme very nicely balanced in my opinion. These aren't pictures displaying the actual state of the brake tracks, are they? In any case, please let us know your experiences once you've built up the wheels with fewer spokes. :)

Still no sign of the 24H and 28H rims?

Haven't called BLB yet as times are hard in UK for me with job insecurity at the moment. I'm sure they are available to order though!

1202 grams total PT SL(417 grams) ,32 hole rim (616grams) CX-rays, brass nipples both sides.
In the mail should be to me on Thursday.

Front will be a Radial 24 hole rim(572grams) /DT240s/Cx-ray/brass combo.

Don't know if really belongs here in WW, but for a PT it's kinda light I guess.

Nice build. Did you get the 24h from Brick Lane Bikes in the end?

Just noticed you PM'd me the other week about ERD, sorry I forgot to reply.

I ordered direct from the H+son website as I am in the US.

I've been very happy with them so far.

He said he had plenty of 24 and 28 drillings. The 32's were actually what was in short supply.

hockinsk -

Can you post an updated picture of your SL42's showing the brake surface? I'm curious to see how they've worn.

with a deep rim like this it is proberly a very stiff rim
would the rim not be perfect for a 20 spokes front and 24 rear and still be very strong?
and some more aero
we can wait ages for the 20 spoke version i geus
i dont like to ride deep rims but they look the best!

I had a one-off set of 24 hole with the braking surface machined AFTER they were anodized. I'll post some pics shortly.
